BHAALU

When we bring home an old stray dog, who can no longer survive on the cold and cruel streets, there is unmatched peace in tending to them. The privileges they never had, the ones that come with homing, they get all of it atleast in their ripe old age. That is the stage they need us the most and not a shelter to die of neglect.

In the picture is our dear Bhaalu, who discovered the joy of playing with toys when he turned fifteen years old. Age related cardiac cachexia and his unacceptance at the place that he guarded all his life with loyalty, is what brought him home. The picture was clicked on the 8th of August, 2015, a week before what we took to be his fifteenth birthday.
