Not even 24 hours ago, Bijlee, a hale and hearty, full of life girl, a resident of Vidyut Bhawan, Baroda, was run down.
Thanks to Pankaj who rushed her to the vet that Bijlee got timely help. This afternoon she was operated to have her hind leg amputated because the fractured bone was piercing the flesh.
There are hundreds and thousands like Bijlee who are run down every day. Not many survive, not many get to see a vet and hardly a dog with amputated leg gets a home.
