This is to bring to your notice about the Inhuman conditions for stray dogs at the Animal Birth Control Unit run by Yash Domestic Research Foundation at Khatamba, Vadodara. During this peak summer time, there is no provision of even fans at their unit, when sun stroke and heat stroke are so prevalent, leading to deaths. Far worse, there are no water bowls in the cages as well. This is a blatant violation of the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules 2023. It also reflects the fact that although the newly notified Rules demand an aggressive monitoring system, there is nothing in place in reality.
Yash Domestic Research Foundation has been blacklisted in the past and was re-instated for reasons best known to authorities, however, Yash Domestic Research Foundation has not mended its ways at all in any sphere of ABC.
This is a sincere request to look into their sorry state of affairs that is not only costing stray dogs their lives but also wasting tax payers money.
