As 2022 will soon draw to an end, this support group meeting is dedicated to remembering all the goodness that our companion animals brought to us, even though they may be no longer physically present. The love will always remain. 5 0
Ronaldo was not even a year old when he was dragged under the wheels by a car for close to five hundred metres. The driver was not only blind, but deaf too to the screams of Ronaldo, because the driver was busy talking on the phone while driving, as narrated by the locals. Good Samaritans stopped the car and pulled Ronaldo out. Too much damage was done by then. He then underwent two botchy surgeries by a novice insensitive vet. Then an expert surgeon saved Ronaldo’s life by operating upon him for the third time and that is what brought Ronaldo home. Thereon, he became our Ghodu / Godam Baba and a star of our home. Close friends who dropped by, were in awe of his energy, especially during the play time when he turned out to be more powerful and able than his four legged counterparts. All of us actually forgot that he did not have a limb. 16 1
Although we meet every second and fourth Sunday of the month for the Bridging Rainbows support group meeting, this time we are coming together on the third Sunday as well, the 20th of November, 2022 at 2030 hours Indian Standard Time, just to stand in solidarity with one of our old support group member who is going to be missing her animal companion on Thanksgiving week. The pain and void especially come to hit hard during occasions, festivities and celebrations because we have beautiful memories associated with our companion animals. No one should ever feel alone in times of need or suffer in silence. If you would want to join, please write to us at bridgingrainbows.india@gmail.com for the meeting ID and passcode. Please do remember to mention your name and also the context in regard to which you would like to attend the support group meeting. We also bridge time zones, you are welcome to join us from any corner of the world. 6 0

The solution to peaceful living between humans and stray dogs is already in place; the animal birth control programme (https://www.amazon.com/stray-become-mans-best-friend-ebook/dp/B0BJ97CGF1), the common point of consensus that should bring together the animal lovers and the ones with a strong dislike for stray dogs. However, caught in the crosshairs of our ignorance are the stray dogs for no fault of theirs. Then organizational goals, gigantic egos, ulterior motives are leading to the murder of science that is sound and proven to work. 11 2
